Default Skill - Rez sig for Pets

I'm thinking a skill that gives your pet a rez sig. It would take up a skill slot and you pet would carry a rez sig. In the event you die (or teamate) your pet would rez nearby party members.
This of course would be a standard rez sig only (one rez). Has anyone even thought of the idea to add skills slots to pets ?
This could open the door for pet builds. Maby Pets could get one skill slot ? A pet with an elite ? Might be too unballanced, but a pet with one skill might be.

...seems relatively pointless to me. Why waste yet ANOTHER skill slot on a rez signet that's not even your own? Do you really want to waste a skill slot so that you can have two rez signets?

Well at least it gives people options for builds. There are lots of skills that are not very effective without the perfect build around it. This could just be another.

This would make PvP rigged. Don't want to kill people in CA 12 times.

Here's a thought, what if it were only "active" and ready for a single use if the owner of the pet was alive? I mean, all the other pet-effecting beast mastery skills aren't worth anything if you're dead, why should this be any different? Might help with the arena deal.
